Scope
These terms apply to purchases from BD Lighting Studio through this website.
The seller
An online retailer of table lamps, wall sconces, decorative and stained glass lighting, operating from Shop 15, Om Manusmriti Building, Ghodbunder Road, Dongripada, Thane, Maharashtra 400615, India. Online only – there is no customer-facing showroom.
Orders
An order is an offer to buy, confirmed by email once payment is received or a cash-on-delivery order is accepted. Where stock proves unavailable we tell you and refund in full – see Cancellation Policy.
Prices, payment and tax
Prices are in Indian rupees; delivery charges appear before checkout is completed; payment is UPI or cash on delivery only.
This shop is not registered for GST, operating below the applicable GST registration threshold, so registration does not currently apply to it. No GST is charged separately and no GST tax invoice bearing a GSTIN can be issued. The invoice packed with the goods is an order invoice only.
Electrical safety
Check the voltage and plug type marked on any item against your mains supply before use, and follow the instructions supplied. Hardwired fittings must be installed by a qualified electrician. Where a product page quotes a wattage, battery capacity or runtime, those are the manufacturer’s figures measured under their own conditions – runtime in particular varies sharply with brightness.
Bulbs and fittings
Some lamps include a bulb and some do not; the listing states which, and states the fitting size where it is not a standard household base. Do not exceed the wattage marked on a fitting, particularly with small glass shades.
Smart and app-controlled products
A few products require a manufacturer’s app or a compatible third-party voice assistant to use their smart features. Those services are provided by the companies concerned under their own terms, and can change or be withdrawn by them. We stock the hardware; we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an authorised dealer for any smart-home platform.
Mounting
Wall lights and hangers must be fixed with anchors suited to your wall type. Fixings supplied with a product suit common wall types only.
Warranty
We add no warranty of our own. Any warranty stated on a product page applies on its own terms. Damaged, wrong or incomplete deliveries are covered by the Return and Refund Policy.
Liability
Nothing here limits consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable Indian law. Where the law permits, our liability for a product-related claim is limited to the amount paid for the affected product.
Governing law
Governed by the laws of India. Subject to mandatory consumer rights and applicable jurisdiction rules, courts in Thane, Maharashtra will have jurisdiction.
